Executive Orders

Greetings my fellow Southies,

As your Premier I shall be using this thread to serve as a platform to issue Executive Orders.

As this thread is for Premier / Executive use and the proclamation of executive law, I would appreciate if nations of The Dirty South refrain from posting in this thread.

Please post in the Thread titled, 'Executive Order Discussion' [below, stickied.]

Executive Order 001 - Culture/Internal Affairs Department & Immigration/Naturalization Department


As of March 21, 2011, I hereby declare the full legal establishment of the Department of Culture/Internal Affairs and the Department of Immigration/Naturalization.


Dept. of Culture/Internal Affairs -

The Department of Culture and Internal Affairs shall serve as a broad executive department within The Dirty South government; duties shall include organization and administration of 'cultural' activities within the region. Cultural activities may include, but are not limited to: arts, creative activities, tourism, sport, cultural heritage. Furthermore, all additional areas dealing with either cultural activities or broader cultural affairs between nations within The Dirty South shall fall under the authority of the Department of Culture and Internal Affairs.

The Department of Culture and Internal Affairs shall be headed by the Minister of Culture; appointed by the Premier and approved by the General Assembly. The Minister of Culture shall have full executive authority within the department, subject to the supreme authority of the Premier.


Dept of Immigration/Naturalization -

The Department of Immigration and Naturalization shall serve as the executive authority on immigration and naturalization services within The Dirty South government; specific duties shall include preparation of immigration/citizenship documents, administration of naturalization services, and recruitment services. Furthermore, all additional areas dealing with immigration and naturalization within The Dirty South shall fall under the authority of the Department of Immigration and Naturalization.

The Department of Immigration and Naturalization shall be headed by the Minister of Immigration; appointed by the Premier and approved by the General Assembly. The Minister of Immigration shall have full executive authority within the department, subject to the supreme authority of the Premier.



Addendum - Appointees shall be presented for both the Department of Culture/Internal Affairs and the Department of Immigration/Naturalization in the official 'Press Release' Section.

Executive Order 002- Foreign Affairs Department


As of March 22, 2011 I hereby declare the full legal establishment of the Department of Foreign Affairs.


Dept. of Foreign Affairs -

The Department of Foreign Affairs shall serve as the executive authority on all matters of state; duties shall include initiating diplomatic relations with foreign nations, signing formal treaties, establishing embassies with foreign regions/nations, and developing/implementing our region's foreign policy. Furthermore, all additional areas dealing with regional foreign policy and foreign affairs shall fall under the authority of the Department of Foreign Affairs.

The Department of Foreign Affairs shall be headed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs; appointed by the Premier and approved by the General Assembly. The Minister of Foreign Affairs shall have full executive authority within the department, subject to the supreme authority of the Premier.





Addendum - No appointees are presented with the declaration of this Executive Order; the Premier shall administer the duties of the Department of Foreign Affairs until such time as an appointee is presented via Press Release.
