Motions to become an Act
I think we discussed this before, but it seems to be barried beyond belief.
and just so it has its own thread, and is visible.
we should just clarifiy the poll to which a motion has to exceed in order to become an Act.
I think we should just keep it simple,
50%+1 to become an Act, and if over-ridden by an executive body, a 2/3rds vote to over-ride the veto.
what about everyone else?

Let me just start off by saying YAY! that this has its own thread now.
Now, as for this system for proposed legislation becoming TDS Law, I think it is totally standard.
Since TDS is going for simplistic, functional, and fair government, I think this is the best way to go about legislation going through The Assembly.

For Amendments to the Constitution there should be a supermajority.

Just to clarify, here is "generally" where we are:
Acts / Laws:
50%+1 to pass, 2/3 to override veto
Amendments:
2/3 to pass, 3/4 to override veto

I am okay with any system as long as it is NOT a Majority wins all thing... That is just far too easy and rather ridiculous... What of those who Abstain!?!?!?
