World Census Report: The Safest in the World

It would seem todays World Census Report: "Safest in the World"

which seems to rank nations according to how safe it would be to visit said country.

i have been a casual observer of the world census report every since i started playing, and as i was just glancing at it today, it seemed to be rather biased against nations who are catagorized as 'anarchy' as being unsafe.

what do you guys think about this?

is NS right in its seeming bias that if a state chooses to input a governmental structore of anarchy they become inherintly unsafe to live in or visit?

is that not an inditment on the human condition, seeming to say that their is no way men and women can govern themselves and must some how be beholdent to a government in order to be safe?

i just thought it was interesting, and thought maybe it could start a good dialouge with in the region for nothing but something to talk about.

Well, I think that "bias" against Anarchic governments in NationStates is nothing, really. I mean, in order to become an "Anarchy" in this game you must have 'very high' freedoms across the board.

For example, citizens in my country are allowed to "rip someone's guts out with a machine gun, no questions asked" if they are trespassing on someone's private property. To clarify, you can't just go murder trespassers, but if they are trespassing on YOUR property, it's open season.

Secondly, and almost identical to my first point, is the fact that 15% of my population dies of "Murder". Further, only 1/5 citizens of Cool Egg Sandwich actually dies of 'old age'. Combine all these factors, and you have one pretty unsafe nation.

In fact, I am the "Most Dangerous Nation" in The Dirty South.
