General Assembly: "Universal Standard Time Act"

Post  Cool Egg Sandwich on Wed Feb 16, 2011 6:08 am

Here is where we will debate the current WA General Assembly Resolution, titled "Universal Standard Time Act". This resolution proposes the establishment of a 'WA Universal Time' (WAST), creating a common standard of time and better facilitating international commerce / diplomacy.

A link to this Resolution can be found Here.

Also attached is a Poll question which will serve to determine how the Delegate (me) will cast his vote in the World Assembly.

With that, I will cede to the floor to your arguments For / Against the Resolution, "Universal Standard Time Act".

It is what it is. Participation not thoroughly enforced, but encouraged. I see no downside to the establishment of international standard time, seems like it could only provide benefits to all WA member nations, political, economic, and otherwise.

I am 'For' this resolution. A resounding YES, YES, YES.
