Nomination for Premier of the Dirty South (March 11)

your nomination can be as simple as 'I nominate myself for the position of Premier' or you can give a long rambeling speech

also remember you must announce who will run with you on your ticket, and you must also ensure that person posts in this thread announcing they accept your appointment on their ticket.

you have three days, nominations shall close at aprox. 12:11am EST on Monday March 14, 2011.

I hereby nominate myself for the Office of Premier of The Dirty South. I have thought long and hard about who I would want to run as my Deputy Premier; I wanted someone with integrity, experience, and a history of unquestioned service to the region. As you might expect, I formally select 'Serenel' to run alongside me and administer the Office of Deputy Premier, should I win election.

Serenel has done an incredible job thus far administering the Forums and fostering debates on a wide range of topics. Furthermore, he deserves much of the credit for our recently passed Constitution; not only did Serenel originally propose the idea of a Constitutional Convention, he participated and helped shape each and every debate contained therein.

I can guarantee that Serenel and myself will only act in the best interest of The Dirty South, and its citizens / residents. Being the Founder of this region, I want only to promote the cultural and political growth of The Dirty South, while accommodating the concerns of all nations.

Because of my allegiance to and compassion for The Dirty South, I am compelled to announce my intention to run for the Office of Premier with Serenel as my deputy Premier.

It is with great pride and equally great humbleness that I accept Cool Egg Sandwich’s appointment to run with him on his ticket, so as I may ascend to the Office of Deputy Premier, and him to the office of the Premier.

Cool Egg Sandwich is the only nation that I can, with 100% certainty, declare is the right person for the job of Dirty South’s first Premier.

We are at a critical stage in the Dirty South, in these next 10 weeks we are going to figure out whether we will sink or swim as a region. At this critical juncture in our history, we need a leader who is patient enough to listen to all the sides of a story, but firm enough pursue the course of action he see’s as best for us as a region. Cool Egg Sandwich is that leader, and those types of leaders in Nation States today are few and far between.

On top of this CES is one of the most dedicated founders, I have ever had the pleasure to work with, as well as one of the most dedicated members of a region I have seen in a very long time. He cares about this region, and I know for a fact, he will be there day in and day out, ready to serve the Dirty South, and give it the attention it needs in its infancy.

I am running with CES because I know he is the best man for the job, and because I too feel the call of service to the Dirty South. I want to lead this regions as its first Speaker of the Assembly. I believe I have shown myself to be an able legislator, through my debates and authorship of the Constitution. I believe I can steer the General Assembly through its fragile beginnings and pass legislation that is vital to the running of this region.

When the election comes in a couple of days, a vote for the CES/Serenel ticket is a vote for experience, a vote for dedication, a vote for prosperity.

I would also like to add that it could still be common place for others to ask questions of our ticket.

even though it is shaping up to be a one ticket election, you still have the right to question the people who will possibly be governing over you for 10 weeks, and with hold your vote if you feel they do not deserve it.

like i have always said, and will always say, a Democracy is only as strong, and as viable as the citizenry that populate it.

as such that shall be the only ticket to appear on the March 2011 ballot for Premier and Deputy Premier of the Dirth South.
